Twitter:

-classroom - put out a tweet of "We are looking for a classroom to follow" #4thchat]
-read summaries of people that are aleady on there
-follow experts, personalize what you want to study,
-sharing our work, connecting outside regular curriculum by interest

Youtube:

for schools/education
-YouTube Teachers and for Schools
-create a video then tweet to specialists in the field to get feedback from experets to improve student work
-used flipcam, gave time in class

Diigo:

Social bookmarking
annotate webpages- evaluating sources, primary sources, can collaborate with others to describe a webpage
Tag- is case sensitive, forces kids to think about categories
Sticky notes- from other online content, articles, reading items
